Nudity is mandatory (except for workshops)
Cause that's what we come here for! If you are not sure whether you are ready, start by signing up to our Naked Yoga online classes.
We also recommend to attend our Naked Yoga workshop first. You will learn about the philosophy behind the practices, ask questions and will know what to expect. Workshops are followed by a short naked practice, for those who dare to try.
Respectfulness
Naked Yoga is a very beautiful and rewarding practice for personal growth. We want to make sure that everybody gets to explore their inner self in a 100% safe and healing environment.
Confidentiality
People who come to naked yoga classes, have their own, sometimes very personal, reasons and goals. The process of healing can reveal one's vulnerability and trigger strong emotional reactions in class, that can make people feel embarrassed afterwards. Also, because nudity is not yet commonly accepted in our society, some people may want to share their experience only with chosen ones.
For these reasons, our default rule is - what happens in class, stays in class, identities of participants included. Should you meet other practitioner that you are not acquainted with - except for attending our class together - please refrain from greeting them first, unless the person very obviously shows eagerness for interaction.
No cell phones
Let's keep it safe, simple and comfortable for everybody. No phones inside the room.
No late entry
Please arrive at least 15 minutes before the class. The doors are locked exactly on time and class starts. No exceptions. No refunds.
Hygiene
We highly recommend to bring your own mat to Naked Yoga classes as well as other yoga props (blocks, straps) if you know you will need them. If you borrow studio's mat be sure to bring or rent a yoga towel.
Sobriety
Sobriety is mandatory. If you show signs of intoxication, you may be denied admission, to a single class or for prolonged period of time. No refunds.
Erection
Our body is a magnificent tool, full of wonderful functions. Arousal is one of them! We all get aroused, sometimes involuntarily, and not necessarily for sexual reasons - it just gets a little more visible on some of us.
We come together to practice Naked Yoga to build healthy connection with our own body, rid ourselves of limiting beliefs and question unhelpful societal norms, e.g. shame and sexualization of nudity. So, as long as your erection is not intentional, you are mindful about other practitioners and follow all the other rules, no need to worry. Just go on practicing if you're comfortable, or take a resting pose for a while, if you prefer.
